Volunteers needed for road safety event

Stewards are needed to assist with the annual Safe Drive Stay Alive roadshow event taking place from Monday 3 to Thursday 6 November at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen.

Safe Drive Stay Alive is an annual campaign which takes a hard-hitting approach to educating young drivers, in an effort to reduce the number of serious and fatal accidents on Grampian’s roads.

Young people from across the region attend the show over the four-day period, as well as members of the public during the evening.

Volunteers are needed to help with directing and assisting the audience to and from the auditorium, helping during any emergency evacuation and general stewardship duties.

Full instructions will be provided ahead of the event.

Performance dates:

Monday 3 November

Tuesday 4 November

Wednesday 5 November

Thursday 6 November

Each performance lasts just over an hour and will be attended by up to 850 people. Stewards are asked to arrive one hour before the start of each performance to receive a briefing.

No prior experience is necessary.
