Welfare solutions session for Kincardine and Mearns

Aberdeenshire Council employees are invited to a local session on welfare solutions for Kincardine & Mearns. The aim of the session is to bring together partners and employees with remits to support local residents with financial inclusion, welfare and employability to share the issues their clients are reporting; the activities and services they offer and to identify opportunities to deliver more by working in partnership.

The session will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 9:45am – 1pm at Portlethen Academy. Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided.Kincardine and Mearns Communities

want to provide this partnership approach to deal with the issues both current and foreseen surrounding welfare reform. We are looking for a range of staff and volunteers who work on-the-ground locally in Kincardine and Mearns as well as those with a more regional focus.
