Welcome to Improvement Week at Aberdeenshire Council

Welcome to Improvement Week at Aberdeenshire Council

This week we’ll mark National Continuous Improvement Week (2 – 6 March) as a council by running activities which heighten a focus on making improvement part of our daily work.

These activities also support the continued programme of Business Transformation which will help us to become tomorrow’s council today. We kick off with a video message by the Head of Customer Communication and Improvement, Kate Bond.

Later in the week, look out for details of how you can participate in the Team Aberdeenshire Challenge, make the most of improvement techniques showcased to support teams regardless of your location or area of work, and take part in a webinar that promises to provide you with a practical guide to using the council’s Improvement Framework.

Donna Redford, Improvement Manager, explains: “All of us working in improvement teams are passionate about improvement and eager to support employees across the council. Improving our services not only benefits our customers but also contributes to achieving savings, provides opportunities for us all to contribute to finding solutions and to work with better processes. These benefits can only be realised with the insight and hard work of colleagues across the board. Please take this opportunity to learn a bit more about our approach to improvement and how you can get involved.”
