New Arcadia launch day is approaching

There is just one week until the new Arcadia homepage, search and news section launches.

What will happen? 

When you log in from Monday 1st February onwards you will be redirected to the new page. The new homepage, news section and search will feature an improved layout and design and will also allow staff to submit stories for use on Arcadia and request advice from the Communications Team. Search has been enhanced to allow you to search Arcadia, Arcadia Lite and the user directory all in one place.

What do I need to do?

Now is the time to update your contact details using the Directory Update. The archived Arcadia phonebook will be removed on 1st February as it contains out of date information. From this date you will be able to use the search function on Arcadia to look up contact details and organisation structures for your colleagues. This feature will only contain up-to-date information about you if you ensure that you have checked and updated your details in the Directory Update.

What happens next?

Future developments will include new features and increased personalisation. Initially, the new homepage will link back to current Arcadia pages while members of the project team work with Content Editors to review the current content and decide what will be required on the new site. Updates on the next steps of the project will be shared on Arcadia.
