Policies in Practice: new workshops

Policies in Practice (PiP) offers the following workshops at various locations across Aberdeenshire, which can be booked through the ALDO system:

PiP Attendance Management

Duration: 3 hours

Content: An interactive workshop on the practical application of the procedures outlined within the Attendance Management Policy, including the general responsibilities and skills required to apply these. Attendees will learn practical tools and techniques to improve attendance and manage workplace absence. This workshop runs at different locations across Aberdeenshire.

PiP Work Performance Management

Duration: 2.5 hours

Content: A practical guidance session to explore the definitions detailed within the Work Performance Ability procedure. It will highlight the supporting documentation that is available and clarify how this can be used.

PiP Disciplinary Guidance

Duration: 3 hours

Content: An overview of the disciplinary policy and procedure and will highlight the roles and responsibilities of the line manager, the investigating officer, note taker and disciplinary chairperson throughout the disciplinary process, including sign posting to the relevant support functions within HR&OD.

PiP EAR Process guidance workshop

Duration: 2 hours

Content: A practical guidance session to highlight the importance of conducting an effective Employee Annual Review. There is opportunity for sharing best practice and group discussion around effectively using the supporting documentation.
