Ongoing media coverage about new HQ

Plans are still at a very early stage.

The ongoing development of a business case which supports the details continues to draw the attention of local journalists, although there’s not much more to say at this point. The first stage of this process will be outlined at a meeting of the Policy and Resources committee in November.

In a media statement Chief Executive Jim Savege confirmed: “The council’s ambition is to relocate its Aberdeen headquarters to Inverurie. This would be subject to a detailed business case to demonstrate value for money, and follow considerable debate and approval from councillors. The business case is still in development and will come before councillors later this year.”
