Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service now also accredited by Secure Email Blueprint

​Aberdeenshire Council is now Secure Email Blueprint (SEB) accredited, meaning that you can send email directly to other SEB accredited organisations without having to use encryption e.g. all email sent from Aberdeenshire Council to the NHS is now secure-by-default as the NHS is also accredited.

The following frequently emailed organisations are SEB accredited and emails to them will be secure-by-default:

  • NHS (including NHS Grampian)
  • Police Scotland
  • Fife Council
  • North Ayrshire Council
  • Scottish Courts
  • Tribunals Service

You  MUST continue to use this encryption guidance to send email securely to organisations which are not on this list.  This currently includes:

  • SCRA
  • Scottish Prison Service
  • Department of Work and Pensions
  • Other non-SEB-accredited Local Authorities including Aberdeen City Council, Moray Council, Angus Council, Highland Council, etc.
