The Scottish Children’s Reporter Association (SCRA) is now Secure Email Blueprint (SEB) accredited, meaning that all email sent from us to them is secure-by-default.

You do not need to use encryption with the following frequently emailed organisations:

  • NHS (including NHS Grampian)
  • Police Scotland
  • Scottish Children’s Reporter Association (SCRA)
  • Scottish Prison Service
  • Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service
  • Scottish Courts
  • Tribunals Service
  • Fife Council
  • North Ayrshire Council

You  MUST continue to use the encryption guidance to send email securely to organisations which are not on this list.  This currently includes:

  • Department of Work and Pensions
  • Other non-SEB-accredited Local Authorities including Aberdeen City Council, Moray Council, Angus Council, Highland Council
