Do you have a statutory requirement to keep emails longer than seven years?

As part of the Microsoft programme your email will be moving from Lotus Notes to Outlook. For the majority of people this will mean six months of mail (in folders) being transferred into Outlook, with any remaining mail up to seven years old, being placed in a searchable archive. However, some people have a need to keep mail for longer than seven years for statutory reasons, and it is vital that you get in touch with the project team if you fall into this category so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
