Regenerating from the inside, out

As our transfer to Microsoft Outlook carries on apace I would like to thank staff for their patience and diligence as normal service is resumed. I understand that systems may be slower in the short term, and difficulties will need to be overcome as the transition is made, but these changes will bring us towards vastly improved services in the future.

Rest assured as this and our other Business Transformation projects proceed at pace, there may be bumps and hurdles but there will also be opportunities to embrace new ways of working. Hopefully some of you will already have enjoyed meetings using Microsoft Lync and are feeling positive about the tools and technologies that will become available next.

On the subject of positive change – with the first stage of regeneration having been completed at Haddo House and Country Park – I would like to highlight what is one of our hidden gems in Aberdeenshire. Well known locally, it is a fantastic asset to the local area, providing an excellent place for a family outing, a picnic or walk in the grounds, or a guided tour of the house itself which is maintained by the National Trust.
