Nominate a regeneration project for the SURF Awards 2014

The SURF (Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum) have opened applications to their 2014 SURF Awards for Best Practise in Community Regeneration.

There are five categories which represent different aspects of regeneration activity: Infrastructure and Social Benefits; Community Led Regeneration; Preparing for Employment; Creative Regeneration; and Town Centre Regeneration.

The purpose of the SURF Awards is:

To recognise and reward best practice and innovation in community regeneration

To promote and disseminate best practice across Scotland as means of sharing knowledge and experience, and thereby enhancing future policy and practice

To highlight the role that regeneration projects have in improving the wellbeing of individuals and communities.

If you would like to nominate a deserving regeneration project, you can submit an application

before September 1 2014. All Scottish community regeneration projects that are currently in place or that have been completed since August 31 2012 are eligible for nomination.

The SURF Awards will take place on December 2 2014 in Glasgow.
