Article Body:

Research will uncover what they consider are the strengths about the way we work and deliver services, and how their views can contribute towards developing the culture of the organisation.

Simple, informal and non-obtrusive face-to-face interviews with employees will be carried out by trained and experienced ‘facilitators’ before the end of the year. They will find out what is already good and right about the organisation; what works well and what employees want more of.
Employees who are involved have been selected at random and personally invited to participate by the Chief Executive.
Other employees have no need to do anything at this stage, however should be aware of the importance of supporting this exercise. Please take care to accommodate any requests of flexibility and support from line managers who will be working to ensure selected employees can attend interviews.
This comes as the result of a desire from the leadership team to create an empowered, engaged and positive workforce, focusing on strengths rather than problems.
