The Performance Team want teams to come forward with what they are doing that is:

  • Compelling, dynamic and original;
  • Improving efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Having an impact now or how it will in the future.

What are your teams doing that is making a real and meaningful difference to people’s quality of life and to our communities?

For Aberdeenshire, submissions are being coordinated by the Performance Team who are looking for managers to put forward suggestions within the next few weeks. All you need to do is complete a short internal application form which tells us what the project is about and how it is making a difference.

Please email performance@aberdeenshire.gov.uk to request an application form.

Please be quick as internal applications close on Friday, May 19, 2017.

Last year, the Buchan Community Planning Group “Oot and Aboot Project” picked up the Silver Award in the Achieving Better Outcomes category, for developing a response to concerns about anti-social behavior and youth annoyance incidents.

In 2015, we picked up a Gold Award for the Library and Information Service within HMP and YOI Grampian and in 2014 the Westhill Men’s Shed was a Gold Award Winner.

Can we win gold again this year?  We can, but only if your teams step forward and share their successes with us.

There are five categories to choose from, covering Delivering Better Services, Achieving Better Outcomes in Partnership,Tackling Inequalities and Improving Health, Strong and Sustainable Communities and Local Matters.
