New guidance for ordering ID badges

ID badges are a very important aspect of Aberdeenshire Council’s security arrangements and as such, all Council employees are required to carry their photographic ID badge with them at all times while on duty.

The process for ordering ID badges has been updated to reflect the introduction of Aberdeenshire Council’s new Design & Print Online Service.

From now on when a new ID badge is required, employees will be required to provide their line manager with a head and shoulders photograph of themselves taken in line with the ID badge guidelines.

Your line manager will then order a new ID badge through the Design & Print Online Service. Instructional videos showing how to use the service, how to take a photo with your laptop and how to order an ID badge are available on the Design and Print Arcadia page.
