VOLUNTARY SEVERANCE SCHEME 2023/24

A Voluntary Severance (VS) scheme has opened to all council employees that is being run to address the budget considerations in this financial year. Full details of the scheme can be found in an FAQ, timeline and briefing documents.

The VS opportunity is available to all staff across Council Services and is open for applications from Monday, 30 October 2023.

At this stage, any application for VS will be treated as an expression of interest only and considered based on future skills requirements, affordability, scale of requests and overall capacity within the Service.
